If Restaurants Functioned Like Microsoft ...

Lolllz ... No matter how much I support Unix, I always thought I'll never make fun of the company who's product's I've been using ever since I knew what a computer was ... But this one's too good not to be put up here ... enjoy ... :)

Patron: Waiter!

Waiter: Hi, my name is Bill, and I'll be your Support Waiter. What seems to be the problem?

Patron: There's a fly in my soup!

Waiter: Try again, maybe the fly won't be there this time.

Patron: No, it's still there.

Waiter: Maybe it's the way you're using the soup; try eating it with a fork instead.

Patron: Even when I use the fork, the fly is still there.

Waiter: Maybe the soup is incompatible with the bowl; what kind of bowl are you using?

Patron: A SOUP bowl!

Waiter: Hmmm, that should work. Maybe it's a configuration problem; how was the bowl set up?

Patron: You brought it to me on a saucer; what has that to do with the fly in my soup?!

Waiter: Can you remember everything you did before you noticed the fly in your soup?

Patron: I sat down and ordered the Soup of the Day!

Waiter: Have you considered upgrading to the latest Soup of the Day?

Patron: You have more than one Soup of the Day each day??

Waiter: Yes, the Soup of the Day is changed every hour.

Patron: Well, what is the Soup of the Day now?

Waiter: The current Soup of the Day is tomato.

Patron: Fine. Bring me the tomato soup, and the check. I'm running late now.

[waiter leaves and returns with another bowl of soup and the check]

Waiter: Here you are, Sir. The soup and your check.

Patron: This is potato soup.

Waiter: Yes, the tomato soup wasn't ready yet.

Patron: Well, I'm so hungry now, I'll eat anything.

[waiter leaves]

Patron: Waiter! There's a gnat in my soup!

A Walk Down The Graduation Lane

The 3 years of graduation have really flown by when I look back at them now ... Though they really seemed a hell long while they were going on :) ... If school life was *MY* zone, this certainly wasn't anywhere near it ... But I really hold these years high up in my list coz they forced me to think, to adapt and to change myself (for the better, I guess :P) ... Will surely carry forward all the bitter as well as sweet memories from these years ... And yeah, I'd like to offer my apologies to someone who once told me that because of me, that person doesnt want to remember her college life ... Thanks for that lesson too miss Note-Too, that was really the one moment that has made me who I am today ...

Ohhh, this brings me to another important notice ... Due to the violent and aggressive nature of some of my classmates, this post will not take any names ... :) and yeah, I'm putting the disclaimer towards the top, coz I know some ppl will get mad enough, and not reach the bottom ever :P ...

Disclaimer
All the characters and incidents mentioned in this piece of text are purely fictitious and resemblance to any living person is to be considered coincidental ... (As far as it goes for those who can link anything to someone, I'm sure you'll enjoy this post :P)

So, to begin with, it all started by bunking a healthy bit of the orientation and the entire havan ceremony that was hosted to welcome us freshers ... After all, me considered a fresher at amity ... Does sound a bit funny to believe :) ... Even back then ... :P

The classes in sem-1 were really somethings to look forward to ... That was probably the best set of faculties and subjects I ever had ... Scored a shocking(to me as well) 9.28 which probably cleared the air about who all are actually smart, and who all just float up and dream of being there ... All the ones whom I wanted to do well, actually did ... On the other front, I was just being me - taking some time to know people and to open up ...

Sem-2 brought about a revolution ... Found my place in the whole scene and found a few good friends ... Slowly a 'group' too ... Some fun times followed, but a lil later, some voices became loud and things became really ugly ... It was best to just quietly move away from the reasons and to leave the 'face the problem' part for the correct time ...

Enter sem-3 and welcome isolation ... This was probably the most important phase of life till date .. Nothing to lose, Everything to gain ... A bit boring though, but thats what took me towards CS for the first time ... Missed classes like hell, but the impressions I had made me sit the exams ... Got a shocking(again :P) 7.96 ... Lolllz ... I definitely studied harder than those marks ... :P ...

Sem-4 and I was stung with a new discovery - There is a course with the name B.Sc(IT) that exists in our department :P ... lolllz ... Met loads of people, found great friends ... And ofcourse it was the time that rAnDoM happened :) ... Apart from the rAnDoMs, found a real nice friend in Kaam-Kaaj Ko Maarat (translates to "kill work" :P) too ;) ... Really regretted not having known these people so well before ... And then came Cybus '08 !!! Pure Good Fun !!!

Sem-5 was filled with CS, Bakwaas Talks, and some more Bakwaas Talks, along with some more CS :P ... It was also the time I got back on talking terms with some Lok-Sitaara which was a really surprising event coz I still dont know how it all started ... :) Maybe that msg after the Delhi Blasts did it ...

The final semester was the one closest to my heart ... Cybus '09 gave me some beautiful memories and 2 wonderful friends in Mr. Junior and Ms. Junior Claiming To Be Senior :P loll ... :) It also introduced me to 2 whole new worlds of people around the both of them ... It was seriously lovely to know them all ... :) ... Thanks a lot ... Just finishing up with the exams and the project submissions, we are guests to the Concluding Ceremony hosted in our honour (phew, zyada heavy words use ho gaye kya ? :P) ... An awesome day with some nice multiple photography sessions :P ... (chk out http://sudo.110mb.com for some pics) ... See Kaam-Kaaj Ko-Maarat, I'm advertising your website, send me some commission money :P

The final shot, the final take and the final cut ... This is how the 3 years ended ...

Now for *THE* question ... Will I miss anyone ? Yes ... many, not all though ... But one thing is for sure ... I'll definitely not miss Lok-Sitaara at all ... Lolllz ... and Kaam-Kaaj is staying here for MCA ... Thats probably the best thing I could've asked for ... Would have gone crazy if I had to be with a completely whole new set of people for another 3 years ... :) ...

Feeling really sleepy now ...

More incidents and coded person names if u demand :P ... lolllz

Take Care ...
