Here's Something We're Best At ...

Ours is a great, great country ... And I'm not being sarcastic on this one, I really mean it ... If there was ever a global award for hospitality, we'd have no competition at all ...

You don't believe me ? With this you will - The Maharashtra Government has spent Rs. 16 Crores on Ajmal Kasab till date ... And without any doubts, the moolah ain't from any Kasab-Relief Fund or something, its the taxpayer's money ...

A person, who amazes everyone for just being alive till now, given the status of the "Most Secure Person" in the country along with this Biryani treatment, it all just adds to the frustration of the already angry citizens ...

Ask yourself, would he have been treated the same way if he had been caught in the US for 9/11 ? Or in Spain for the Madrid bombings ? Or in the UK for the London attacks ? So, here's a small little letter I wrote a few weeks ago, which stands pretty strongly in the current context:

Dear Mr. Prime Minister,

As you should be knowing, but have seem to have forgotten, there is a thing that exists by the name of basic human behaviour. I deem it necessary to spread the message to enlighten you, and everyone around about it.

Suppose in a classroom, a student misbehaves with the faculty and the fellow students, and is caught. The teacher, instead of punishing him, gives him a sweet for his act. No rocket science knowledge is required to predict what will happen next day - 10 more students will repeat the crime. They know they won't be punished, rather, will receive the sweet too.

Oh, so you already knew ? Then would you kindly care to explain where lies the difference between that classroom and our nation, that notorious student and Ajmal Kasab, that faculty and our legal enforcements, those 10 students and the terrorists who attacked us post 26/11 ?

I'd love it if any of my able friends correct me if I was wrong ...

There's A Lesson At Each Step ...

Back, after probably my biggest absence from Blogger ... Sorry folks, a lot had been going on ... Will try to share all the scoop of the missing year as much as I can :) ... For now, here's something for all of us ... We know what failure and successes are, but sometimes don't realise that both of them are equally important for us. Eventually - our basic aim in life is to keep on raising our own bar ...

A failure is a failure only if you don't improve yourself after it ... Today, I can proudly say - I've failed without a regret; and gained without a doubt ...

20 years after being told I wouldn't survive, I'm living and still breathing ...

6 years after failing miserably in the pre-boards of Class XII, I have completed my graduation and post graduation tenures with Merit-Scholarship ...

A year after being left stranded without any answers, I now have the strength to smile over the good times ...

3 months after being rejected by a top-notch Japanese IT-House, I have successfully set up a firm with one of the most amazing persons I've come across ...

Always remember, success is not determined by the heights you scale, it is more of a measure of how high you can bounce after hitting level-zero ...

So, before you write-off failures or over-rate successes, just give a thought to what you've learnt from them ... Take care ...
